Mimi's Garden, Inc. has been creating distinctive gardens and landscapes in Fairfield and Westchester counties since 1995. Mimi Gould, the founder, moved to Fairfield County in 1991 after a career in the fashion industry in New York City that ranged from modeling to design.

Her interest in garden design started while still living in the city when she started working on gardens in the Hamptons on weekends throughout the '80s. This led to her study at the New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx. After the move to Weston, she threw herself into creating her own gardens on the largely neglected two-acre property she had purchased. As more people started to notice her work, she began advising on several gardens of friends. This led to a handful of recommendations to create garden plans and the next logical step was forming Mimi's Garden, Inc.

The focus of her business is the individual attention she gives to her clients. Mimi's Garden, Inc. has grown into a fully integrated landscape company with an impressive

resume of gardens throughtout Fairfield County including those featured on the Westport Historical Society Garden Tour.

Mimi shapes her clients desires into a realistic concept that best suits the individual properties, enhancing those ideas with her design expertise, consideration of the environment and her knowledge of horticulture. She has also created a network of skilled subcontractors that cover every phase of garden installation, including tree work, masonry, irrigation, lighting and fencing. This collaborative effort has resulted in many beautiful and singular gardens in this area.
